| As a service to our customers and for your continued peace of mind, H&R Trains evaluates every piece of vintage merchandise in our Engine and Car Shops before it is put out for sale. Any broken or missing parts are replaced where possible, and every locomotive is disassembled and serviced. This includes the removal of old oil and grease, checking all motors and brushes, pick up rollers, wiring, light bulbs, reversing units, smoke units, whistles, wheels, couplers, etc. The locomotives are then re-assembled, lubricated, and performance tested. Each item is then evaluated and priced based on many factors including its condition, rarity, whether or not it has the original boxes, and other factors. We generally follow the TCA and TTOS Grading Standards to establish condition. Prices are determined using guidelines established in the TM Price Guides, The Greenburg Price Guides and our over 36 years of experience. Each item is then sealed in a plastic bag to protect it from dust and dirt, fingerprints, and minor damage caused by scratches etc. Please See About Us to find out more about our five-year Peace of Mind Performance Testing and our return policy. All Vintage items are warranted by H&R Trains for a period 90 days from the date of purchase. | ||||
