Information about the Tennessee Alabama & Georgia Railroad Company was recieved Via Email from contributor Kevin Pezzano.

The railroad ran between Chattanooga Tennessee, and Gadsden, Alabama through the state of Georgia.

The Tennessee Alabama & Georgia Railroad Company ceased to exist when it was purchased by the Southern Railway system in 1971.

Very little remains of the origional track however a segment between, Chattanooga, TN to Hedges, GA, is still operated by the Chattooga & Chickamauga Railway serving chemical manufacture Reichhold Industries in northwest Georgia.
