Although it is new, it will still be a work in progress for some time. We are still not completely satisfied with the way it works. We will continue to add new merchandise on a daily basis and continue upgrading both its look and features on a continuing basis. We have only included inventory which is currently in stock. That means that every day our available inventory will change based on our sales. If an item sells out it should be automatically removed from the products that are available until a new supply is received into Inventory and then it should automatically show up as available once again.

We have over 32,000 railroad oriented items in inventory at any one time and it will be a real challenge to include all of them. The items actually in inventory are changing every day and it is more like a moving target. If we receive say 12 of a specific item today and sell all twelve today they will not show up tomorrow. To further complicate the process we may not be able obtain that item again for weeks, months, or in some cases even years or until the manufacturer makes that item again.

In the beginning only a small percentage of our inventory will actually show up as being available with the shopping cart. Over time it is our goal to include all or as much as is physically possible to be available with the shopping cart.

If you do not find the items you are looking for please call our Toll Free Order Line so that we can check our actual inventory for you and if we do not have it we will try to locate the item for you.

Once you are at the shopping cart Home Page you can find the items you are looking for in one of three ways. 1) Type the Stock Number including any dash (-) into the Product Search Window, or 2) If the item happens to be Featured in the Products Rotary Display Window you can click on the product photo, or 3) You can also click on one of the categories in Product Categories Window and when the items appears click on the image of the item you are looking for to take you to the shopping cart.

A Technical Note: It is important that once you start your shopping cart order that you continue through the shopping process to the check out, before you leave the shopping cart, or your order may be lost and you may need to start the shopping process over from the beginning.
