H&R Trains - Manufacturers attending Train Show
Manufacturers that will be here
at the 54th H&R Train Show

Author Greg Turner will be attending the train show on Sunday March 30 from 11am-3pm to sign his books and talk trains.

Greg Turner is a long time customer of H&R Trains and lives in Fort Myers, Florida.

He has written many books about Florida railroading including: Railroads of Southwest Florida, Florida Railroads in the 1920s, A Short History of Florida Railroads, and many more. See Greg Turner Bio

Artist Robert West (pictured at right) will be here all weekend once again working on one of his latest railroad paintings. Robert will also be glad to sign any prints that you may purchas during the show.

Budd Rese (below at right) will be here representing Bachmann all weekend along with Randy Kennie (below at left). They will have a good supply of their 2008 catalogs and also answer questions about all their new products.

Randy has just returned to Bachman as their national sales manager. We are glad he is back. Rich Janyskek was promoted to VP of sales, and Budd was promoted to senior VP for marketing and sales.

Bachmann will be on hand to present the prize to the winner of the "G" gauge down hill race on Saturday afternoon

Bachmann has sponsored the downhill race since its inception a little over three years ago.

The Train Show has always been a family affair and this show carried on that tradition. Budd Reese's brother,
J. Don Reese (pictured at right) will be here on Friday and Saturday representing both Lionel Trains and "K" Line Trains.

Not long ago Lionel aquired the assets of "K" Line and
J. Don will be able to answer all the questions about both brands and I belive he will have a supply of cataloges for both Lionel and "K" Line.

Rick Armstrong (pictured at Right) will here all weekend during the show representing Playmobil. Rick makes frequent visits to our store during the year to check our inventory and make sure that you get the latest products available.

Rick was recently promoted and now is a regional sales manager for Playmobil.

H&R Trains has one of the largest inventories of Playmobil in the South Eastern U.S. We are pleased that Rick will be here to support our customers and our Train Show.

Jenny Kyle (pictured at right) from Learning Curve-RC-2 was planning to be here however her company has eliminated their sales reps in Florida and Jenny has sold her house and will be moving during our show.

The Thomas painting workshop for childern, ages 3-7 will still take place on Saturday from 11am to 1pm..H&R Trains will also present the prize for the downhill race on Jennys Behalf, and we will certinly miss her.

We have one of the largest inventories of Thomas The Tank Engine and Friends in the Southeastern United States.
Chad Bender (pictured at right) will be here all three days representing Suns Out Puzzles.

These and many other factory representatives will be here for the 54th H&R Train show and are eager to meet you and share what is new in their product line.
