Full time Repair Technician - General Requirements: Train repair technician for long term employment in well equipped shop. Candidates must have excellent mechanical aptitude, proficiency in soldering, and be able to read and understand electrical diagrams and engineering drawings. Duties include routine preventative maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of model trains, and transformers. You will also do installations of Digital or other command control electronics. Full time Data Entry to help with our E-Commerce Shopping Cart on our Web - Site - General Requirements: Data entry experience with emphisis on inventory control and E-Commerce / Web Site input and maintenance. Must have basic digital photography experience in order to input photo and thumnail of inventory items on site. Retail sales experience would be a plus, with good people skills and pleasant, outgoing personality. This position will require you to receive new merchandise into inventory prior to entering into the E-Commerce site. You may also be asked to help with other duties such as retail sales using out point of sale system when the need arises. A good knowledge of model railroading merchandise and model railroading in general would also be a plus.

Full time Bookkeeper - General Requirements: Bookkeeping experience including: Quick Books accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, P&L, daily banking, good people skills and a willingness to learn and work as an H&R Trains team member. This position is a full time permanent position.

Part time Model Railroad Builder - General Requirements: Must have good understanding of the process of planing, building, and maintaining Model Railroads. Woodworking or carpentry skills along with electrical skills such as wiring a layout and it's accessories and soldering skills are all important. A basic understanding of scenery techniques and materials is important. Including working with Styrofoam, hydrocal, molding plaster, rock molds, ground cover materials, and other scenery materials is also a plus. Air brushing skliis would be a plus. Garden railroad construction experience is also a plus. This position would require assistance in building railroads for both private as well as comercial layoouts for our customers both locally and also away from the local area.
